So what will the price of this new system be? The regular one is more than $4000.

Prius owners need this. Maybe they'll drive faster.

This supplemented sound thing is out of control. What happened to making an engine sound good because of it's performance?

Chill out haters.
Iīm guessing you all have petrol cars.
I paid more than $140 000 for a car with an M badge on its engine and it sounds like shit. Utter and proper shit. If this is the only way to make it sound ok Iīm in.

Yes, I regret not getting the 50i which was cheaper.

Emission limitations happened. In Europe at least. And they can't all do like VW...

Uhm, no? I was quoted 38750 SEK incl VAT (€4074) for this one 2 months ago.

http://www.hamann-motorsport.com/en/...vMode%5D=model

And the chrome one is about €100 cheaper. Donīt know the price for the one with carbon tips.

Edit: Or did you mean that €7000 is the price for this new one? With the Active Sound?

Not too bad on the standard models. Keep it off the M cars, BMW, if you decide to implement a similar system.

Adjustable steering, adjustable damping, all the adjustable stuff is always either too little or too much. It might be close, but ultimately, if one chassis setting is used, the car will be better. The steering would be better, unadjustably, the dampers would be more controlled and balanced too.

I guess a single setting for either soft or loud is ok, as most cars have something like a valve in the exhaust system to controll that. But I'm not sure about this wirelessly controlled exhaust, where settings can be finetuned extremely.

So, again, please, standard models, of course.

M cars, please no.

Great exercise in technology but hardly something will get used heavily by the end user/customer.

Or if you have the money, buy a nice classic and you won't need this nonsense or even a music system.
