Thought I'd join in here to say that I'm in for a rack if we can perhaps get another group buy going. Going from the end of May I count a possible 8 of us. I don't know what his threshold is to give another discount or if everyone is truly in but worth a shot as tax and shipping adds a cool $100 and every little bit helps these days. Props to quick for arranging the initial group buy.

FYI - I also spoke with SH and they say lead times are anywhere from 3-6 weeks. Not sure if they will be interested in providing a discount based on demand/lack of inventory.

Thanks for trying quick. Much appreciated. They do normally run sales about twice a year - just have to keep up with their FB page - and I'll probably just wait for that.

First a big thanks to quick for trying to get the discount for us.This group (and not just the F85/F86) has been very good to them with sales and reviews. Good for them doing well and been on their peak season but 15 orders bulk is nothing to sneeze on. Personally much rather if he left it at "Sorry guys, I cant get supplies right now so I will not be able to offer any discounts at this time, maybe later!" instead of I am doing really good I don't need you; at least that's how I read it. Kind of disappointed.

I didn't want to out and out say it but that's pretty much exactly what I was thinking... too bad.

That's the same response i got from them when i reached out. Too much demand to offer a discount atm. Guess will wait for the black Friday sale. Unless they offer us something before that.

So scrolling through their Facebook feed back to this time last year it looks like they offered 10% off for most of October that ended 10/31 and then on 11/8 started a pre Black Friday deal for 10% off. That sale morphed into a BF sale of 15% on 11/22. In 2018 it looks like they had a Labor Day 10% off sale and then a 15% off Xmas sale.

Note that not that any of us -deserve or are owed- any sort of discount but there is something about that timing of the pre-BF to BF sale that bugs me but whatever.

Point here being to keep your eye on their FB feed for whenever they run their next sale. While I'm in CA and we've got people in the market for this year round I imagine demand drops off once we get into the fall for most of the country so somewhat similar timing is probably likely.
