Problems with the door handle...

Does anyone else have problems with the door handle sticking "open" even after you have released the handle?

I own a E90 325i. It is about 8 months old now...when i open my door from the outside, the handle pops out (normally) and remains popped out until I push it back in manually. This a mere annoyance more than anything. If you just shut the door, the latch does not lock and therefore the door just opens...

I asked my dealer and they said they will likely be ordering parts for me for a replacement door handle...apparently this is a common problem?
