Speaking for myself only, but I
love how the leatherette grips my butt when I'm flying around corners!
With time, though, the leatherette becomes not so grippy...
My commute is quite short, around 15-20 minutes each way, so I'm not finding my butt sweating much on leatherette. Anyone with commutes longer than 30 minutes or in warmer/hotter weather will probably appreciate the "breathability" of leather vs. leatherette.
