-i will clean rigorously, inside the tip and around it (jesus this sounds bad); will use a light degreaser/cleanser such as simple green
-i will block/tape off the area from overspray
-wipe with areas i want to paint with isopropyl 70/30 mix
-use a self-etching Rust-Oleum primer grey for 2 coats (full coverage)
-use VHT high-temp gloss black paint using light coats till it's fully covered
-use VHT high-temp gloss clear using 2, full coverage light coats
allow for full cure - about 6 hours or so to be safe.
