I'm in the same boat and somewhat conflicted.
I read the Q&A portion of the ad and there were a few inquiries for an F85 production year 2017 and 2018 and the seller consistently answered that it won't fit.
Yet, I am seeing some folks here being successful with it for that model and years in question.
I want to do it as well, just don't want to end up breaking expensive stuff on such a tiny thing if it just "sort of" fits but not an "exact" fit.
I guess its really about finding the courage to do it and try it out?
