I have the same issue running SiriusXM thru my iPhone. Sometimes I get the artwork, sometimes I don't and sometimes it freezes on the first song's artwork, sometimes it works properly. It appears to a timing matter when I select Media for radio input and when I activate SXM. I haven't played with it enough to sort out the exact timing required.
The SXM reception on my X5 is so terrible I don't use it and resort to getting SXM thru my phone.
