It's trash, don't use it, it'll kill your engine faster because 90% of wear happens when you start the engine. Unless you don't care about the owner that keeps your car to 150K miles, then do whatever you want.
IMO, sorry for this, but if you're worried about gas at all you shouldn't be driving an M2. It's a necessary part of performance car ownership. I honestly wouldn't mind if gas was $10 a gallon, it'd literally make no difference to me at all. You have to pay to play.
