Its a way to weed out the desperate, they want a confident guy who doesnt need them. Easiest way to do this (as a guy)in my experience is keep many in rotation and if you do find one that is drop dead gorgeous its easier to ignore them when you have many currently.
Im actually currently doing that right now, made some major headway last night, havent closed it yet but it wont be long
