I'm experiencing the same but thought it was when I went from an iPhone X to 11 Pro. It worked fine in the Loaner X3 I had a few weeks ago. I thought it was more of me having the iDrive NBT version. Now when I ask Siri something I have to say it all in one breath for it do what I ask.
