My set up and model identical. I had the exact same “symptoms” as they called it. Said it was the iPhone. 6 at the time. Bought new 10 and it did the same thing. BMW kept blaming Apple and said next update will fix issues. Never did until 13.1 update.
It did and now all works perfect. IDK....I would ask for a complete system reset which they did for me twice but before 13.1 update.
