Those can both be eliminated and capped off with factory caps. I just removed everything like that back to the original source, which is that main diverter. This diverter is where coolant splits 4-5 different directions. The caps for these are OEM block off caps, which snap over the open holes after the lines are removed. If I remember correctly you use three different sizes of caps, but 4 total block off caps to complete the job. Two of one size, and one of each of the other two.
