Could be low speed pre-ignition (LSPI) which is becoming more apparent due to engineers pushing the boundaries on engine efficiency. My N63TU was doing this quite badly. I’ve changed oil to one that meets the SN Plus standard. I found a Shell 5w-30 that meets the SN Plus and LL-01 standards.

The engine noise has mostly gone and response at low rpm under power in Comfort mode is now ok.
