While driving this past weekend it was still a chilly night in MN and as always the first thing I do once I get into the car I turned the heated seats and heated steering wheel on. After couple minutes the seat was nice and warm but the steering wheel was still very cold. Since BMW engineers have mastered the design of the new heated steering wheel button I had no way to double check if it was on or off so I pressed it again and got nothing. By the time I got home and I could finally see the button I checked and the light did not come on at all.

I know some of you guys have experienced this problem and I was wondering if it is an easy fix or if the entire steering wheel (M Sport) has to be replaced.
Major ergonomic screw-up - not being able to see whether the heated wheel is on or off. My F25 is the same way. This is one item where the E83 X3 was better.
