If factory warranty is void and or CPO is not an option but plan to keep long term... One would have to purchase the vehicle at wholesale or close to in an effort to offset the cost of a fidelity warranty or similar which could around $4k or so depending on which you person. In my opinion there are far better options out there and any money saved up front will quickly be wiped out on the back end once repair bills start piling up.
