Yesterday I watched Vietnam in H.D. all day leading up to Grant. One of the reasons I wasn't on here much.

Brought my daughter up watching these documentaries from WW1 and on as I wanted her to get just a glimpse of what these heroes endured, and to appreciate the liberties she has now because of these men and women.

It's one of the few things that cause me to "tear up"....I'm not that big of a hard ass. It became a yearly ritual for us...especially when I was single and it was just the two of us.

I noticed that she was impacted greatly as she took a huge interest. That's when she connected most with her Grandpa when she found out he had served active duty.

She called me yesterday to let me know that she and her husband were watching the same thing.

God Bless America Forever!!!!
