OP you have 3.5xi motor?
That's the issue! Lately for the past week I've seen 3 owners of mysterious 3.5 engine. Apparently it's a not reliable engine and very rare one. Hopefully you'll get it replaced by a more reliable n55. The rumor is they go in a 35i. So i guess dealer will rebadge your X5 from 3.5xi to 35i
