I'm not a fan of the cliché "just bought a new car so let me black out the stock wheels". Think about what you want your vehicle to look like in the long run.
Rather than "mod for the sake of modding", buy some fender flares painted to match your exterior paint. Then add some nice 20" or 21" wheels.
Use your current setup as winters. The X5 can very easily be turned into something that looks cheap. Not naming any names, but feel free to browse through all the prior pictures posted here. You'll find a few.
