I was quoted $6400 for the BMW warranty to get me another 2 years and 25K miles added on to the CPO (7 year 100K) , and it only continues the CPO coverage, it isn't a full factory warranty like if you buy it when new. For that cost, id need the engine to completely fail to pay itself off in 2 years, which makes it incredibly tough to justify. That being said, I have a BMW Visa and the points can be used towards a warranty, so if I have enough points saved up before my CPO expires, and im not buying a new vehicle, I may spring for it, or at least knock a decent chunk out of it. |
