I purchased the 2, it didn't work, returned it for the 3 and it worked great. I've read on this thread that the two works as well, mine didn't. More than likely I received a defective unit.

Yep I got a 2 and it worked like a charm. I read some of the reviews on the 3 on Amaz*n and a lot of people seemed to have connectivity issues with the 3 so I chose the other one.
Try one option at a time once or twice in the beginning so you know everything works great before doing a large set of changes. Some of the menus are heavily populated and require patience.
