I thought the same thing when poeple were trying to get me to mine Bitcoin, and then later buy it when it was $10 because mining was "not worth it". That must be close to 10yrs ago. I think crypto is closer to gambling for the most part because of the difficulty identifying what will stand the test of time. It's the wild west gold rush.
