When you take a look at your existing battery…if it is a 90AH/92Ah/95AH battery…then it is a 49/H8 AGM battery class size…that’s what you need to look for if shopping for a non BMW branded battery.
If you have a 105AH or 110AH battery, then you’ll need to shop for a 95R/H9 AGM replacement battery. |

Very helpful. How do I know if I have 2 batteries vs 1? Do I need to replace both?
Lastly, do I need the bimmerlink app to code/register new battery? I'm thinking of buying a 49/H8 from local auto zone.
