95% aren't but apparently a very small number of owners actually do this. My son works for a Ford dealership and told me what happens is the boss of a company will buy a very expensive truck (F150-450) like a Limited or King Ranch, and after it passes a certain number of miles its then given to workers at the company where they get torn up and abused until they pretty much die, all that nice leather and materials are ruined. There's still a large number of owners that simply buy it for luxury and just haul air and groceries, but some commercial businesses will haul once their boss is done with the truck. |
Not to mention that there is a special tax break for businesses purchasing or leasing trucks over a certain weight.
