The under car seat pad, which is genius, I found at Buy Buy Baby for $20
My son, who is 7 1/2 years old, is not tall enough to put his feet on the floor. With the pad, he usually has his feet on the seat/pad. He's comfortable and I don't worry because it's a removable pad that blends surprisingly well with the leather. He can get it dirty and it cleans up very easily (or can be replaced). We've made it to the end of basketball season, let's see how it holds up for soccer/baseball season.
