Thanks for the tip. Do you know if it’s better to go after market or have the dealer upgrade the equipment?

Funny my moms jeep Cherokee you just plug the usb cable into the usb outlet and car play turns on right away.
There are lots of threads on this so it's probably not worth rehashing here. The dealer is not going to support NBT Evo retrofit as an option (they will tell you to buy a 2017-2018) and it's questionable whether the will entertain an aftermarket option.
