That's a beautiful watch. I don't know much at all about pocket watches. I'd love to see more scoop as you discover it. I know Waltham made nice watches, but that's about it.

There is a company around -- name starts with a "P" -- that refurbs and used Waltham movements in their current watches. (If you feel like you need the name, PM me and I'll dig it up.) If your watch guy can't find authentic parts you might need for repairs, you may want to reach out to them to see if they can give you a good lead. Ditto RGM in Pittsburgh. I'm almost certain some of their watches use refurbished Waltham parts.

Even if they don't have the specific bits you may need, they could likely give you some inside dope on places to try should you need to source such things at some point.
