To the OP…did you buy this X5 new or used? If used, did you code the mirror folding or did it have this feature since the day you purchased used?

Only asking because the original or previous owner may have coded the mirror fold-in upon locking feature…and when you had the DME unlocked & flashed…it erased the coding.

If you have coding software like ESYS or Bimmercode…try recoding the feature to see if it comes back.

In regard to VC (voice commands) did you lose that feature all together or was this programmed into one of the 1-8 programmable buttons? Asking because I’m not sure what your mean by “navigation quick search”. If you press the talk/microphone button and say “NAVIGATION “ after hearing the tone…does iDrive start asking you for info…or does it not respond at all?
