The secret mode and the CBS reset start out the same way. You are either holding too long or need to HOLD longer (I forget which one shows up first).
There is no difference between the f15/f85 or any of the F chassis 5/6/7 series…they all will do the same thing…open the hidden menu & open the CBS…you are close if you’re getting the hidden menu.
If you do either test correctly (press & hold the button) when you’re done, the trip odometer will return to the mileage that it was showing prior to the procedure. If you do it wrong…it will reset to 000. If you see zero mileage…then you did something wrong…it’s operator error.
