Timing chain will sound differently - more ratchety. Valves sound more ticking, not like this - this sound has some louder knock sound - that i don't like. Vanos? I'm, not sure how Vanos sounds. Spun rod bearing sound completely different.
Rod knock - it does sound like it imho. I don't want to think about it - I'm hoping I'm wrong.  |
