VW Beetle, of course (I think a '63)!
I actually absconded it from my brother when I got a post-HS job. You could see the road go by through the rusted floor boards!
After a couple of paychecks (& a small check from Gramps), I went looking for a better Beetle, but found a '69 2002 instead ($900.). It had rusted front fenders & smoked a bit, but hey, I was on my way!
