At the end on November 2018 I basically got out of the game; I was able to trade in the watches I'd accumulated on my end game watch. I got tired of trying to rotate a 21 watch collection of Rolex, Omega, Breitling, and Tag Heuer. I took it down to three watches and got one for my wife. I got a Daytona 50th and she got a ladies DateJust which she likes. I kept a Sea Dweller 4K and an Explorer II (16570).
Three watches are much more manageable than 21. I feel it was a wise move as I'm not gambling on the heightened value of Rolexes and other watches staying there for ever. I got a 20% discount on the Daytona and bought it without sales tax through the shop's NH store. I'm done with stainless for the most part. I traded the SD4K for a Day-Date 18238 in remarkably nice condition. So I'm set with one Pt, one Au, and one stainless piece, all Rolex watches.
