I have that exact model that my wife surprised me with years ago as a souvenir from Switzerland. It was in similar condition to that from years of me wearing it. I brought it into Omega for a service and they polished off all the scracthes, replaced all the worn gaskets + gears + crowns, and added a new 3 year warranty to it.

It looks brand new again now. Everytime I go into the Omega store I get compliments on the watch since that electric blue just pops against the polishing. They always tell me how that combination is pretty rare as it was only made 1 year I think. They never notice my 007 Planet Ocean when I walk in with that.

Looking at the bezel on that watch, they can't really polish that since the numbers are painted as well. They can probably do what they can to minimize the scracthes but they will have to replace the bezel for a complete fix. Everything else they can make as new on that.

otherwise it looks pretty authentic to me and has all the same markings that mine has.
