Mine is also a 2015 but it's only the 35i. It is definitely a design flaw causing them to break, or poor quality control. I don't know how much it cost for one but I imagine it isn't cheap. |

Ya you'd think how often it fails they'd just proved replacement rings. But they replace the whole darn thing. What a waste. And I think that's just the cost of the idrive controller. Don't think that includes labor and coding which they said was required to replace for some reason. Either way I've never been able to change my interior colors since that coding they did. |
Yeah I was told it had to be coded as well. Like I said in one of my other posts, I'm just happy they are doing these repairs under warranty for me.
My driver door seal/gasket was completely ripped off, and they said it wouldn't be replaced under warranty. Part was 33 dollars Canadian, labor was 124  I might just install that gasket myself. |
Ya mine was torn on the bottom from my flight boots hitting it when I step in the car all the time. Ordered a new one the other day. Still need to install. Just lazy |
Lol I hear ya. I've been wanting to put ppf on the hood and by the back wheels, I've just kept putting it off. Material is here waiting to be installed.
