Sometimes a coil might go bad, but not be in such a bad shape to throw a code. However, it can cause slight misfire. You will mostly feel this under heavy load at low RPM. Coils are not traditionally considered a maintenance item, but in your case, what do you have to lose?
Also, if you change out plugs, make sure they are gaped properly. If you get wrong plugs, or if they don't have right gap, they can cause poor performance and misfire.

Good call. I think it's the rest of the coils. Might as well swap them all with new ones. Plugs are all new (3-4 months old). I checked dealership servicing papers and saw that coil 3 was replaced but the indy mechanic found coil 3 to be faulty?
