You need pinout for m-sport and non m-sport - they differ slightly. You are probably missing extra power pin for m-sport socket. If you can find color coded numbered pinout (table or picture) - you should be able to rewire. Everything should work, including heating.
Best way to do it is to get pinout from ISTA - there are ALL pinouts with photos and diagrams, everything is numbered and explained etc. Check the Maverik259 thread about ISTA and how to install it:
