First use disk utility to format a usb drive to FAT32. exFat if that's all you have. I use a 64GB drive to have plenty of room. Use Stuffit to unpack the .rar file to the flash drive. Then clean the drive with Cleanmydrive 2. Insert in cars usb and follow directions on iDrive.
Remember, these are big files 22.7GB compressed so things take time.
