Every time the engine turns off, the oil pressure stops. Then every restart, your bearings are dry for a little bit. Plus you have extra load on the crank at those startups since the transmission is engaged. More wear and stress on bearings and seals. The pennies you save on fuel with start stop is plain dumb when compared to extra wear and tear on the vehicle.
