Ultimate has a faster processor (smoother power delivery) and the Unit seems to be a bit different
The power gain is not just all but also with Ultimate you're able to transfer it to another car but you can't with pro.
Ultimate = longevity, better investment

You CAN actually transfer the Pro to another car. I did based on recommendations from RaceChip Germany - I just needed to change the settings, new provided by RC. The box was originally for a X3 F25 20D - now in a X5 E70 30D
