You should always measure from the lowest center point of the rim to the fender. This will negate tire cold/warm tire pressures as well as tire wear etc. |
I prefer overall hight since I'm comparing same wheel/tires |
Why do you care just about the height and not the wheel gap? And that height won't be consistent based on tire wear, inflation, cold vs warm etc. the more realistic number is what I mentioned.
