Rotor surface area is double the size of my 50i rotors lol, let alone even smaller 35i. 4 pot calipers vs 1 pot - that's another difference and of course quality of calipers is superb IMHO. In general judging by E70/E71 forum reviews performance is very good, it's a noticeable improvement over stock 50i brakes (even more so over 35i). They will not set any Nurburgring records haha, but people who upgraded say this is how x5 should have come from factory to begin with

That been said 395mm rotors are almost as big as my previous 3 series bmw rims lol

P.S. It will probably need to be coded as well, I'm still going to find it out, but AFAIK coding will adjust proper brake fluid pressure up for bigger calipers
