No brackets needed - they bolt on right on instead of stock cast calipers. Bigger protection plates are probably good idea, but I'm going to stick with my stock 50i ones - they are almost as large as F85 rotors so I'm ok with that (they will not cover a small portion of rotors, but I decided to live with it lol)
