I fully understand that you may see an occasional cold climate area. If you look at the purpose of any ///M automobile is performance. You would expect BMW to put the best tire for the performance desired out if an ///M. The good thing is if a person chooses to move to an all season they can. Just like the ones who drive their ///M's year round in multi-season environment can switch to a all season or run winter summer sets.

The common complaint is "this is a AWD SUV and it is purchased for snow abilities. I completely agree if your talking 50's/35's but not an ///M.
