I do like the fact that you can get ahold of a tuner and do a custom tune for your own x5. I had a custom tune for my 335i so I remember the process. That alone might sway me to bm3.
I think I'll pull the trigger in two weeks. Then I will see if all the talk Ian for real.

BPC is listed as a custom tuner for BM3, but I haven't personally approached them about what their process and price options are. I can't imagine they are thrilled about doing a custom tune through BM3, considering they offer their own product directly to the customer!
