Just having been a reader so far, I can now contribute a M50d delivery at BMW Welt in Munich.
After E60 und F01, this is my first X5, and I am quite impressed by the agile handling compared to 7-series. Ride comfort is a bit more harsh, but still comfortable. I cannot comment on the engine in detail as I respect the break-in period. But huge torque is definitely present at low rpm
Annoying: GPS system did not work, have to go to dealer for repair - disappointing quality check before delivery.
I would have preferred taking the M6 police car (see pics)
