I think OP has decided on diameter. I think his primary question is regarding offsets if he runs tires larger than stock, i.e. 285/45s and 325/40s (or perhaps 275/45s and 315/40s).
One comment to OP...you might consider 11.5" width wheels in the rear. BC prefers this I think based on comments from other forum members, such as classic_erik.
