I picked up my new 2016 X5 factory ordered last week but had to take it back yesterday because they missed the MPPK install (even though I emailed the sales rep twice about not missing it
. Only took them 40 mins to install it though so oh well.
I had driven it for about a week without the MPPK, mainly in sport mode. It's insane...previously I had a 2013 X5 35i m sport and this new one is unbelievably better.
With the MPPK the X5 has a deeper rumble and definitely has more get up and go. I think sport mode is more composed now. Throttle response is heavier and you can really feel the extra torque. MPPK has removed the slight jerkyness that sport mode had before.
Really it's confusing that the MPPK doesn't come stock on the m-sport
