2018 iDrive 6 Problems
I have been having issues with iDrive 6 since I bought my F15 in October. Comes down to two things.
1. It forgets that I am in the presets. So if I am listening to FM, I will start the car and it with be in FM instead of Presets. Same thing with SiriusXM. So each time I have to fiddle around to get back to presets.
2. It forgets what I had displayed when I turned the car off. I will have the map on the left and entertainment on the right of the display. I start the car and it either show the tiles or the vehicle menu. This happens once every couple of starts.
I just had it at the dealer for a software update. That actually made the problem worse.
Anyone experiencing this with the 2018s? Any solutions? The preset thing is driving me nuts.
