I gave my VIN and this is what BMW dealer told me today. Front is G2 and rear is 987. So i assume 987 in all 3 rear chambers?
Hi Sajin, sorry for the wait – I had our shop foreman pull the repair instructions for both differentials:
The only difference would be on vehicles produced from 3/2020 and take the Hypoid G5 fluid in the front axle.
