VW needs to up the ante on the power. I have driven Touareg prior to leasing X5, found it too sluggish. VR6 is good for smaller cars, but not an elephant. I enjoyed driving TDI over the VR6: it had the right amount of power. I like the fact they come equipped with a tow package.
I might test drive one just for curiosity.
