I think you are confusing the "///m" fender badge with the "X5M" badge on the fender vent trim. Most M-Sport models outside of the US have small "///m" badges on the front fenders. X5Ms do not have these badges, but do have a "X5M" badge on the fender vent trim. Different badges.
